Tooth-colored dental filling (دانتوں کےرنگ کی ٹوتھ فللنگ یا بھرائی) is one of the most common dental treatments in a dental clinic. The small black spot on your tooth if goes unnoticed can turn into a big cavity or hole in the tooth resulting in sensitivity to hot and cold, and stucking of food particles in the cavity which sometimes become very difficult to clean. If the cavity (dental caries) is not treated timely it may convert into a big lesion, resulting in severe pain, and making it difficult to chew and eat.

What is a tooth-colored dental filling?
Tooth-colored filling refers to removing caries (cavity) and filling the remaining tooth with white color filling material (called composite). Composite filling material comes in different shades and the dentist chooses the shade that closely matches your tooth color.

Is it a painful procedure to get the dental filling treatment done?
In 90% of cases, it’s a painless procedure, but in some cases where the patient feels pain during drilling dentist numbs the area to make the procedure comfortable and pain-free.
